the only thing which made me happy is that i managed to more or less get the subjects i wanted! yeapp. taking sensibility & romanticism, victorian lit, astronomy, literature of empires, french and (BAHH) southeast asian women's writing. they tried to make it sound nicer by putting the heading as "directed study in lit" though. asses.
i can only hope somebody drops british-asian or film & fiction of asia.
now i gotta keep tabs on the movement of subjects. i think ntu just seems to promote kiasuism to the max. you know.

why?

ultimately, fantasy is fantasy and can never become reality. to them, its fantasy; to us, its reality. but what is unknown to us is that the real world is all about going out, acting normal, without people actually realising who or what you are.

i wonder which is more sad: living in reality and being real but shrouded by your own fantasy, or play-acting a role for your entire life blinded by this fantasy we take to be normal and real.
we're living out their fantasy while ostracising them, that's like a double slap.

well, at least they know what they want, and have the guts to stand out as who they are. as compared to the rest of the so-called "normal" people stuck in a rat race chasing after things which construct them and make them who they are.
and so we laugh at them to shield ourselves from our own insanity by proclaiming them as the ones who are insane.
